Vazga Valamudan Our Guru, Mahan Shri Vethathiri Maharishi, a great thinker and philosopher of Tamil Nadu attained samathi on 28 March 2006. His revelation about the transformation of God into the physical universeis a unique feature of his philosophy. His spiritual practice of Kundalini meditation and self introspection methodology provides thenecessary base for peace and prosperity of every family. He has left avery valuable philosophical legacy and spiritual practices which needto be taken to the whole world for the spiritual upliftment of the peopleand for the harmony of the family, which is the fabric of the society. With this in mind, all over Tamilnadu Vethathiri Study Centers (Payilahams) have been formed to bring the teachings of Vethathiri Maharishi in all their original and pure form to the public, In this task, we are happy to join various other Vethathirian Institutions all over the world. Vethathiri Maharishi Ashram at Peralam (Thiruvarur District, Tamil Nadu) serves as a mother organisation for all Payilahams. Our vision... The Ashram will strive to impart the Vethathirian spiritual practices and principles of life to every one, rich or poor, young or aged, boys or girls of all religions. The Ashram will remain committed to remove, to the extent possible, the present day pains and sufferings of the under privileged sections of the society. Our Mission and Strategy To achieve our vision, We have the following service centers. Vethathiri Meditation Centre - Peace for all. This center will offer the philosophy of Vethathiri Maharishi, Kundalini meditation and Kaya Kalpa Yoga Techniques for students and public to improve the educational capability of the former and the spiritual personality of the latter. These teachings will take care of the emotional aspects of the people. Vallalar Dhayavu Centre - Hunger Free Society
This center will take care the needs of the aged senior citizens in nearby villages, who are not properly supported by their wards. Annai Therasa Service Centre - Healthy family towards Healthy India
This center will conduct periodical medical camps for people in nearby villages and offer them free medical service and counseling. By taking care of their health, people of rural India will not only prosper and be peaceful but also be an asset to build a stable and healthy India. Ambedkar Education Centre - Quality Education for Rural India To provide excellent quality education for school and college students in villages by arranging competent and talented professors in various subjects and thereby take care of the intellectual capital of Rural India. This center will strive to provide urban facilities in the rural environment. Abdul Kalam Research Centre - Scientific Temper for better living To promote research in the border areas of science and philosophy to make science philosophical and philosophy more and more scientific. This research will bridge the gap between science and philosophy, and will try to remove the superstitious beliefs of the religions thereby making religions more relevant and useful to the society.
